HANS CHRISTIAN
ANDERSEN is one of the ten most widely translated
authors. His tales have been translated into some 60 languages including
Albanian, Euskera (spoken in Spain’s Basque region), Malay, Icelandic,
Tadjik, Lithuanian, and many more. Many of the translations are indexed in
UNESCO’s Index
Translationum, an international bibliography of translated works
published in the world. The following form may be used to search the index
using UNESCO’s search engine.
